Koraiio LLC turns research in computer vision, acoustic sensing and edge AI into systems that work in the field. DroSonic is the first. Engineering and research projects for other organizations are the second part of what we do.

Koraiio was founded by Dr. Ghulam Mujtaba to take a decade of work on lightweight, on-device AI out of papers and into hardware. The common thread is perception on constrained devices: summarizing video on a Jetson Nano, screening messages for threats on a Jetson AGX Orin, or hearing a drone on a low-cost sensor node.
DroSonic, a passive acoustic counter-drone system, is the company's first product. It went from first work to a live-drone field test in eight months. The same engineering is available to other teams through our services.

Dr. Ghulam Mujtaba
Founder & CEO, Koraiio LLC and DroSonic
Computer engineer with 13 years building machine learning systems on edge hardware. Ph.D., Gachon University; NSF postdoctoral fellow, West Virginia University; IEEE Senior Member; Assistant Professor of AI and Data Science at Regis University.
His research covers computer vision, personalized video summarization and edge AI, published in IEEE Transactions on Big Data, IEEE Internet of Things Journal, Information Fusion and IEEE Access, and demonstrated at CVPR 2025. He gave a keynote at the 54th Applied Imagery Pattern Recognition Workshop in 2026.

Through DroSonic, Koraiio is a member of the NVIDIA Inception program, a 2026 Colorado SBDC TechVenture Accelerator company, a participant in the Colorado APEX Accelerator and the Bridge Entrepreneurs Network's Inclusive Impact Catalyst, and part of the SOF RACER consortium.
